As many of you know, our 2 boys have Atypical Hemolytic Uremia Syndrome. It is a strange blood disease that affects the kidneys, and causes high blood pressure. This diesease has scared us many times, but the biggest scare was in December of 2003, both boys landed in the hospital. Ethan was on a ventiator twice & both of them had to have dialysis. I can never remember another time I was so scared.

Anyway, on Saturday September 20th we are doinga 3 mile walk for Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee. Ethan and Chase are Childrens Champions, which means they are the people we are walking for. All money raised goes directly toward research on Atypical Hemolytic Uremia Syndrome. Our goal this year is $1,500. In the past 4 years of us doing this walk we have raised over $5,000 Let's keep it up.
