Up North

This past weekend we went up north, to White Lake. We went because there was a memorial for Uncle Jim. Unfortunately, some chick wasn't paying enough attention when she was driving. She cut off the guy in the lane next to us, who then veered to the left & we hit him...an hour into the drive. Needless to say, we had to turn around & come home to get Joe's truck. It is not fun squeezing 6 of us into that thing for 5 hours!! Oh well, we still got to go & noone was hurt. Sadly, we missed the memorial. The good thing is that we still got to see all of my family, and Amanda's slide show.

Once we got there we had a nice visit. We hung out at grandma's for quite a while & then headed to Antigo for the hotel. We stayed at the new Holiday Inn there. The kids were in heaven since there was a pool that they got to swim in. Even Norah liked it!




We wanted to try to meet up with Shelly & family that evening, but since we got up there later than planned it didn't work out!! We missed you Shelly and fam!!! :o(

The next morning we actually slept in...until 8:00. I was great, but could havebeen better had Norah not been up 3 different times that night!! Oh well, I'm just trying to soak her in since she is the last baby!! After we got ready & ate breakfast we headed back to grandma's. We had another nice visit with her, dad, Aunt Carol, Jim, Aunt Dawn & Brian! We left about 2:30 to head home.
