future brother in law!

So...yesterday was deemed Lee Dewyze day in the city of Mount Prospect!  I was there to witness it, along with Kristi, Meghan, Donna, and a bunch of other strangers!!!  Talk about fun times!!  Kristi, Meg & I left around 1:00 to head down there.  The parade didn't start until 5:30.  It was supposed to be 4:30, but Lee was running late.  We had a great time just hanging out with Donna & her gang!  The parade was very short & to the point, but we were SO CLOSE to him!!!

We walked by the paint store while we were waiting for things to start & we even tried to stalk the neighborhood & find his home!!  We think we found it, but we aren't sure.  Don't you love our poster?  Meghan blinged it all up for us!!! 

So, our t-shirts?  At first we were thinking they were kind of ugly, so Meg and I bedazzled ours & Kristi's.  THey looked fab with glitter & puffy paint all over them!!  We didn't go too crazy!  IT was funny though, we didn't see any other people with that same t-shirt.  We even got stopped by 3 or 4 people so they could take a pictur eof the 4 of us in our "Lee shook my can" shirts!!  We happily obliged!!  HA!!

Next up was the concert!  It was F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!!  Lee was so darn cute.  He was so humbled and amazed at the 40,000 that came to see him.  It was just crazy, looking around at the crowds!!!  It was only supposed to be a 3 song concert, but he just kept giving us more!!  He was so good...even brought a tear to Meghan's eye!!  She is going to marry him ya know?!
