4th of July

What a day!! We had a good one actually!! First we had to go pick up the kids from mom & dad Smith's! The boys had spent the night. They had dagreat time, but only got SIX hours of sleep!! YIKES!! While we were there Chase stubbed his toe & freaked out. That got taken care of & we promptly went home to give the boys a nap before we headed to my mom's house!! It isn't very often that you can get a 9 & 6 year old to sleep, but they didn't even argue...they knew they needed it!! HA!

About 4 we headed over to moms! We had a cookout with burgers & all the other good fixin's! They set up the bag toss game for the kids & had rockets to launch, and sparklers too!! We even made homemade ice cream. Joe had a couple of beers & was pretty goofy with Meghan egging him on!! We had lots of great laughs. At 9 we headed up to the fireworks without Rowan...Meg babysat. It was a good thing, cuz they were LOUD & Rowan would have been scared to death!!!
